Methods of the nonlinear dynamics are utilized to study the spin evolution in a field-driven, nonlinear magnetic chain and in a single molecular magnet. In particular, we focus in this overview on the application of the Kolmogorow-Arnold-Moser (KAM) theory and the methods of nonlinear resonance for the controlled manipulation of the magnetization dynamics and point out possible technological applications.
