I will present an overview of our recent studies of light-matter interaction

phenomena described/probed as a fully quantum system. Within our approach

we study the physical origin of the light-matter entanglement and its special

consequences to the quantum dynamics of the light states. We found that

some of the characteristics of the intense light -matter interaction can be

imprinted in the quantum states of transmitted light propagating in vacuum

after the interaction. I will talk also about some recent related experiments

which were proposed, discussed, prepared and performed by our international

partnership including groups/researchers from: ELI-ALPS (Hungary),

CNRS (France), MPI-Halle (Germany) and IESL-FORTH (Greece).
